Hydro-ventilation lining

AQUASON is a lining element with plate shape, suitable for hydro-ventilation lining of walls in interior and exterior. Plates have plane front face with bevelled edges. Plates are made from sized natural or coloured quartz sand bond using epoxide composition. They are highly resistant against mechanic, climatic and chemical influents, non-combustible and ideally vapour-permeable.

Application

Hydro-ventilation lining AQUASON together with hydrophilic adhesive binder serves to effective maintenance of moist pedestals of houses and walls. The lining secures long-time functional, permanent and aesthetic treatment. For interior applications, plates made from coloured sand or their mixes are used (pepper and salt variants). Plates from natural sand without surface finish are used for exteriors, or the front face is equipped with protective coat of highly resistant and fast paint.

Installation

Wall lining is specified to sticking directly on the wall using a hydrophilic binder.

Mechanic modifications

Lining elements can be alternatively cut using grinding wheel for stone or diamond-charged grinding wheel for dry cutting. Circular holes can be formed using drills or jig saw tool from heavy metal.

Cleaning and maintenance

Cleaning with water, in case of major contamination – cleaning with warm water with dissolved detergents. You can use non-metal brushes. We do not recommend high-pressure cleaners.
